Puzzles

Puzzles come in all shapes and sizes. Most people are familiar with modern jigsaws. These are usually made from card although some collectible ones are made of laser cut wood.

Early jigsaws were made of wood and unlike our modern ones, were not interlocking but dissected wood. The first ones were map puzzles and made for educational purposes. Block puzzles were also popular during the Victorian era and later.

There are other types of puzzles besides jigsaws. There are 3D puzzles, which make shapes such as globes.
